Scuba Diving Trip - Lodges and Resorts

No scuba diving trip to British Columbia, Canada is complete without staying at a dive lodge/resort in our West Coast wilderness.

Along with our spectacular scenery, incredible marine and wildlife, and fantastic scuba diving locations, there are also great destination scuba diving resorts and lodges around Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and the Gulf Islands.

If you truly want a learning dive holiday, where you can experience sights, culture and wildlife like no other place in the world, then I recommend you spend some time reviewing these scuba diving resort web sites (and be sure to say CoolDives.com sent you):

Awesome diving and meals prepared by Earl and Deb, both professional chefs, can be found at Abyssal Scuba Diving Trip Dive Charters & Lodge near Campbell River on Quadra Island.

Check out their CoolDives pricing and full scuba diving vacation packages. Maybe you'll even meet Captain Crunch?

The Abyssal Lodge is very popular with large dive club groups from local dive stores, so you will need to book now to ensure their availability.

Bathgate Resort & Marina (Sunshine Coast)

Brentwood Bay Lodge and Spa (near Victoria)

The Brentwood Bay Lodge and PADI certified dive resort is a luxury boutique Lodge and Spa near Victoria, and is my favorite place to stay and dive near Victoria.

They have put together a great little 3 night - 2 dive package for two, and have many other options and upgrades available.

You would really be spoiling yourself and your partner by booking a dive holiday in Victoria at the Brentwood Bay Lodge.

It is really the only luxury, full-service lodge, spa and dive center here, and is worth checking out (or in, I mean).

Browning Pass Hideaway (Port Hardy area)

God’s Pocket Resort (Port Hardy, God’s Pocket Park)

Hornby Island Diving & Lodge (Hornby Island 6 gill sharks)

Malei Island Resort (Port Hardy area)

Mt. Daniel Waterfront Resort (Sunshine Coast)

Porpoise Bay Charters (Sunshine Coast)

Rendezvous Dive Adventures in Barkley Sound is a great scuba diving lodge in an amazing wilderness setting.

This was one of the first dive resorts in British Columbia, and the current owners, Peter and Kathy, are great hosts and provide great food and a great location for divers and family adventure-seekers alike.

Their set-up is also great for dive clubs and groups, and we can get you some great pricing.

Rockwater Secret Cove Resort (Sunshine Coast)

Sunshine Coast Resort (Sunshine Coast). This is my favorite spot on the Sunshine Coast.

They have lower-cost hotel type units for those with tight budgets, and luxury chalets and penthouse suites for those with a little extra to spend.

I have more information available at this Sunshine Coast Hotel page.

Be sure to ask for Cooldives 4 nights for the price of 3 pricing when you speak to Ralph.

Tuwanek One Bedroom Suite, near Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, isn't a lodge but is a great one bedroom rental suite so close to great dive sites, you can literally watch divers head to the Tuwanek Spit shore dive from the deck.

And if you get a picture of Shrek, can you email us a copy please?

When booking your scuba diving vacation at one of these British Columbia scuba diving resorts, please be sure to ask for CoolDives pricing and say you saw them on this website.

Contact us to check on pricing or availability for you; complete the following form and we would be pleased to help:

And please return here to complete a scuba diving trip resort review to help other divers.
